Activity Description

This weekend, we will cross Mount Olympus, visit Mytikas, and on Sunday we will finish with a beautiful hike to the Kalypso waterfall.

Itinerary:

Friday

Departure by mini-van from Nafplio and Athens with accommodation arrangements in the region of Palaios Panteleimonas.

Saturday

Starting from the Christakis refuge, we will cross Mount Olympus. Skolio (2905 m) – Skala – Mytikas (2918 m) – Plateau, ending at Prionia. During this hike, we will visit all the beautiful sights of Mount Olympus – (peaks, large cauldrons, plateau, shelters). The ascent to Mytikas will be accompanied by a mountain guide and the necessary equipment.

Hiking duration: 8 hours - Total activity duration: 10 hours

Sunday:

We will visit the Kalypso Gorge with its impressive waterfall in Kissavos. A route that ends in the depths of the Kalypso Gorge, where we will come face to face with the grandeur of nature. The emerald waters rush through the rocks and form impressive pools. Return to accommodation and departure.

Hiking duration: 4.5 hours - Total activity duration: 10 hours

The group will consist of up to 6 participants and will be accompanied by a mountain guide and 2 mountain guides.

General Information

For participants, we provide walking sticks, rain gear, a light snack in the middle of the route, and personal insurance.
Each participant should have appropriate athletic clothing, sturdy athletic shoes, a small backpack, water, and any other personal items they may need (a shirt, a towel, etc.).
For those ascending the summit, there will be an extra charge covering equipment and guidance, to be arranged in advance.
All transportation is done with our own 4x4 vehicles.
Accommodation and meals are not included in the price.
In case of inclement weather preventing an excursion, there is always an alternative program available.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation 7 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are automatically reimbursed for the full activity price.
Cancellation between 3 and 7 days prior to the agreed activity starting date. You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement.
Cancellation 3 days or later are what we call last-minute cancellations. No reimbursements will be effected.

* If the activity is canceled by the activity provider (due to weather, non-completion of minimum entries, force majeure, etc.), the price of your activity, is refunded in full.
